In this experiment, our mission is to find out what works better, store brand window cleaner or homemade window cleaner. For the homemade window cleaner,we used hot water instead of room tempature because it mixes better(Wright, Kathryn May 10, 2012). We use white vinegar for an antibacterical cleaner. Our hypothesis is that the store brand window cleaner will work better than the homemade window cleaner.

Steps:

1) Get hot water
The hot water mixes better than room temp.

2) Mix it with 2 TBLS of Lemon Juice and White Vinegar
White vineger is non-toxic and its a good antibacterial cleaner
lemon juice helps make the window shine

3) Shake the bottle well
By doing this your mixing all the ingredients together.

4) Spray and wipe with cloth
Its best to spray all over the window rather than in one spot

Results

At first we thought that the store brand cleaner would be better but while going through the experiment we found that the home made one is actually better.

At first we spread mud on the glass

We then cleaned the glass and found the results.
It seems that the windex left a lot of mud that was rubbed on it hard.

In the beginning of the experiment we thought that the store brand cleaner would be better than the home made. As we went through the we slowly realized that the homemade was working better than the store brand that was due to the lemon and the vinegar, and due to them mixing well together they worked at least 10% better than the  store brand. As you see in the chart below the, which was calculate by a spray and a sing swipe of the paper towel the homemade  did in fact work better than the store brand.
